Twilight Vampire's Sager NP5320 Review - Page 3

I am able to run FEAR just fine at 800x600 with everything but Soft Shadows set to Maximum, in addition to 4X AF. I average around 42-51FPS. Smooth all over.

However, that is at default clocks of 350/350. Currently, I am running OC'ed at 375/400, and I can run at XGA, with nearly everything at medium-high...looks beautiful.

I tend not to play games overclocked too much. I FEAR I'll blow out my video

I like to keep my resolution in the 1024x768 or higher range though. Thats probably why I cant set my graphics as high on FEAR.

I'm debating this system over the Uniwill 259EN3 (switchable GMA/GPU). The front DJ controls, on-site/adp avail from PC Torque, and overall raves I've heard are in favor of the 5320. Battery life is important though and I've heard some more "quirks" about this system. Anyone who feels they know both systems fairly well... HELP!!

Do NOT buy a uniwill if you're thinking of something in the range of sager. Uniwill is not in the same league quality wise. (Speaking from experience)

The quirks on the 5320 are very managable and its build quality is much higher than any uniwill.

Nice review TV, question for yah

You mention in doc's thread that you'll adjust to the keys. I believe that I will with no problem, however I'm also having a problem with the keyboard staying "snapped" in. Did you experience anything like this or was it just some keys were harder to "activate" then others?

Oh, I think I know what you mean. A few others here had that same problem. I didnt have it originally, but I did after I took off my keyboard for cleaning. It takes a lot of force to keep it in place.
