Deals on iPod

I went to the apple store here last thursday and I saw they were offering $50 off on both 20G and 60G iPods. I am not going to watch movies on the small screen so the new iPods would serve the same purpose as the current iPods for me, so I bought the 60G iPod which was retailing for $399 for ($399-$50 - $35-student discount) $314.I thought that was a pretty cool deal.

well, nice deal without searching the internet. Every retailer is selling their 60 Gb old model out and the price is very cheap. Trust me, VERY cheap.

I don't like buying my iPods from Apple because if it breaks, they repair it. In order to get it repaired I have to ship it to them. Then I have to wait for them to repair it and then ship it back. So, I just got mine from Circuit City, w/extended warranty. If anything happens, send the iPod along with the packaging to the acquired address and then wait for my gift card to come in the mail, which only takes a couple days . Then I can get whatever I want

wat the heck are you talking about? if ur talking about $50 off the new video ipods u can forget about it, there won't be specials till christmas time, and even then they'll only be at discount-online retailers.

i'm waiting for Ipod nano video !

it's cool to watch videos on an ipod, but i usually watch anime.. subs would look very very very small lol

everyone gets a student discount.

1)go to teh Apple Store for Education
2)click either the student or faculty link
3)pick a school, any school.
4)enjoy your student discount(not on the xserve however)
