jacbo, even Guru Shoman only managed 510/1282, you're going way higher than him- and do you have a similair set up to him?

He had a fan on the top of his graphics card - I hate to think what jacob's doing to his poor GPU with stock cooling and such ridiculously high overclocks

I just used the FAQ to OC my 6800 ultra with stock cooling to Reflux's 490/1220 and so far it's stable and after 15 mins of full testing doesn't pop over 60. It only idles 4 degrees hotter than the stock clock speeds.

Pretty nice jump too, my 3dmark05 score went from 5270 to 5780.

Now to go get my pre-order of Oblivion and see how she flies.

I reckon mine'll go quite a bit higher than that, but I'm getting a 7800 this week so I'm not gonna bother.

hmm i am currently at 500/1200... im wondering if 490/1220 would be any better?

Lower Temps more memory bandwith? or does the 6800 benefit more from GPU increases instead of memory.?.

In Nibit, under the temperatures tab, it has nothing for the core temp slowdown, would it be smart to put something here? or is leaving it blank what everyone does? If not, what temp do you all set it to slowdown at? The only thing I see that we are modifying is the 3d Core and Memory fields under the Clockrates tab. and do you all enable the 6600gt temp monitor trick?
