Yeah, next week will probably be the earliest I will order because I'm getting paid this Friday, so I might see if they drop (hopefully ), but I can't wait.

And if anyone else following this thread wants to know, I ended up going with the MS-1012BT to not have to worry about the bluetooth and I would just rather go with the Pentium for the battery life, eventhough it is barely an advantage it is still some.

Thanks for all the help, I'm sure I'll have atleast one more question before I order and I'm planning on doing a review, because they were always helpful, ever since I started looking at laptops more than a year ago on here.

Can't wait

Acool.com formerly pcsupplysource has a better price on the 1013 then eWiz. Also if you go to www.pricegrabber.com and search for whichever barebones you choose it will save you about $15-20. For some reason if you go through pricegrabber its cheaper.

I am actually looking at getting the same thing but I think I'm leaning toward the 1013. I've always been a bit of an AMD fan and the two seem so close. Looking forward to that review.

pricegrabber sucks and is rarely accurate, plus it lists many companies that have little or no stock. just be careful if you use it.

I did use pricegrabber, but Newegg was still the cheapest from any of the companies I was willing to purchase from, and pricegrabber doesn't have the 1012bt.

I use www.resellerratings.com and always do a little research before I buy from someone I haven't done business with. I'm certainly a big fan of Newegg though. I will probably buy all my stuff there except the barebones.

Sorry I went back to look for that deal and could no longer find it. Though, I think I used Froogle.com and not pricegrabber. Sorry for the confusion. The 1013 is cheaper so maybe thats what I was thinking of. Excuse me while I go pull my foot out of my mouth.

shark1987, definitely let us know how it turns out. I'm leaning towards the MS-1013 due to the better gpu. I do like the newer layout and styling of the MS-1012BT, and onboard BT feature is a big plus.

Thanks for the tech advice CoffeeShark, I was also planning on building this from a barebones kit.

Well, I'm actually now not sure which one I want to get, I am torn between the 1013 and the 1012bt. I don't know which to get, I was thinking about it and I think I would atleast like to play HL2 or CS:S, so I don't know. But either way I will try and do a review.

Yes, the 1012BT is very good looking. I wonder if they'll be updating the 1013 in a similair manner soon.

If you plan on any gaming (like myself), I think your best bet would be the 1013. The battery time may not be as long as the 1012bt, but I think being able to play games like HL2, CS:S, WOW etc. more then makes up for the lower battery performance.

I'm holding out for now, currently upgrading my desktop. My other reason to wait a bit longer is to see if they do in fact release an updated version of the 1013.

Alright, I ended up getting the MS-1013!!!!

- MS-1013 White Barebones with DVD-RW $715.85

- AMD Turion MT-37 $277

- MSI 6855 Mini PCI Card $32.83

- 60GB 5400RPM 16mb buffer HD $83.50

- 512mb OCZ PC3200 RAM $48.44

I got overnight shipping on the stuff from DigitalHotBuy because it was only $14 and ground was $6, and from Newegg I got 3-day, their stuff gets here fast anyways.

Total combined w/shipping came out to $1187.52 the price went up ~$30 becaue DigitalHotBuy didn't have the 1013

I can't wait to put it all together. It feels like Christmas already haha

Right now I'm doing my happy dance

I'm going to try and borrow my brothers camera when I'm doing everything just for you guys too!!! And as of right now I'm planning on a review.

EDIT: DigitalHotBuy messed up there stock count and they don't have any 1013's left so now I have to order from eWiz.com. Plus my bank is being very stupid and saying because I have a highschool checking account that I can't spend more than $400 at a time, so I have to go and switch banks tomorrow then re-order , hopefully i'll get this before the end of the week.
