Congrats. Should be picking up my 9300 next week (just ordered today). See how it compares to my Sager 8790

Some very random thoughts:

..I am very happy.

Perfect match with my 700m.

Quiet and cool.

Little bit heavy. I am a big guy, but still..

Not a web-surfing machine.

Clear Type refuses to install.

Need to do a pinmod and RAM upgrade.

It is a mother of all laptops

For someone who is going to have one laptop, I would recommend 6000 though. 6000 is both true performance machine and mobile.

9300 is not mobile unless you are heavy lifting fan.

In my particular case it will be home video machine, so no worries about mobility.

..and I have 700m to walk with me

Heck I find this a very mobile machine, but hey, I am the guy who was toting around an Inspiron 9100 everywhere as well...
This thing is light in comparison.

Hmm, I tote mine back and forth to the office every single day of the week

I love my 9300, I just toss it in my laptop bag, and take it wherever i want to go .

It runs nice and cool and quiet Now I need a 9-cell battery and I'm SUPa powered

Well, one guy in my office got fired for bringing his own laptop.

I only take my T42 there.

Too bad. I want to brag

I travel for my job, flying 2-3 times a week. I carry my 9300 everywhere! I'm 6'1" 235lbs though, so it isn't bad for me. I just bought a set of these speakers :
Now, it's starting to get a bit heavy, but hey it's worth it. Got the Boomtube last week, the sound is amazing. The 9300 speakers are better than any laptop I've had, but once I used the boomtube, I can't go back.
