Not to me. It's ugly. An X700? C'mon Sony get your act together, the Mobility Radeon X800 XT had been out for nearly a year now and unless you at least put one in your flagship laptop, I won't buy Sony.
It's a rebranded consumer version of the 17" BX series laptop. I did like the A series design a whole lot better though...
But you buy a Sony like this for the screen and not the graphics. Or at least, that's how I see it. For Photoshopping and art, you can't get much better for laptops (they either look worse or don't offer the same resolution).
If they've dropped that lovely WUXGA screen for a a sloppy WXGA one, my next upgrade will be to Sager or (gasp) Dell.
Hey I wouldn't have thought you'd been needing an upgrade. Don't you already own an A Series, apart from high resolustion gaming, I can't see anything that machine wouldn't be able to handle for years to come.
