I'd just never thought to! I'll give it a shot though.

The important thing is to learn about NVidia's PureVideo decoder. It makes a big difference in video quality no matter what you use to watch the DVD with.

How do you get WinDVD 7 to show up as an auto play option in XP-MC? D:/Right Click/Properties/AutoPlay/DVD movie, and its not an option in the list.

Thanks,

People on AVS forum swear by TheaterTek. I will give it a try sometime.

I tried TheaterTek (this uses PureVideo i think), PowerDVD, WinDVD, PureVideo decoders and i think WinDVD is best for image quality among all. Also TrimensionDNM makes the images even more great.

Confirm that you are running the lastest version of WinDVD. The trimension stuttering problem has been eliminated for me with this latest version.

Yes, with the Trimension DNM (Digital Natural Motion) enabled, I have to agree the playback is far superior to any other dvd app I have seen so far.

If you use VMR you won't experience stuttering, in overlay mode it stutters sometimes.

I don't know how to enable VMR in Dell drivers but in Xtreme-G drivers its in Video Overlay settings menu in NVIDIA panel.
