I Purchased a alienware Sentia in dec of 2004 and let me tell you this notebook was a huge waste of money. I have had nothing but problems with it for the past few months. I had to send it in to get repaired about a month ago since the pile of **** would just randomly turn off. Yesterday I got it back to find the paperwork stating that the failure I explained to the tech could not be duplicated on the pc in the shop so they decided to replace the keyboard instead, which by the way worked fine, of fixing my random shut downs which occured about every 5 mins lol. So I waited around all morning yesterday awaiting the return of my labtop from alienware and when it came it worked great. I loaded all my programs back on the notebook yesterday since they imaged the notebook in there repair shop. Well that took about 5 hrs to get it all set up like I like it. Tonight I get home turn on the notebook it worked for like 15 mins no problem the next thing I know the son of a ***** starts beeping uncontrollably and just freezes . So I unplugged it from the wall and had to remove the battery to get it to reboot. Once it rebooted it worked for like 2 mins before it let out one long beep and turned off WTF. Well I am not to happy at this moment since I waited a month to get back a labtop that still is broke. I can't wait untill tommorow to call up customer service and lay in to some ass over there at ALIENWARE. I tell you what I sure am glad I purchaed the 3 year extended warranty for this pile of **** notebook because I am sure it will be going back at least 5 or 6 more times within the 3 years. Well just thought I would share this with those of you who are thinking about buying a notebook from alienware. Save yourself the hassle and go with another brand of labtop.
