Check for 'dead pixels' program

Download that program (don't need to install it) so it can help you identify for 'dead pixels'.

My opinion on the matter is that if I have a dead pixel and don't realize it, I'm perfectly content in my ignorance. If I found out I had one, it'd drive me nuts...

i agree with Downbyfive. if you don't see it, don't try to.

otherwise, all you need to do is change your background to about 5 different solid colors (cyan, red, black, white, green) and look for them. no program needed.

Yeah really. If you can't see it then why bother looking. All it will do is piss you off. If I knew I had a dead pixel that would be all I would look at everytime I was on the computer, and there would basically be nothing I could do to fix it. I'm happy with not knowing.

Unless you just got the notebook and paid Sagers $200 no-dead pixel guarantee fee.... then you might want to know.
