Not too sure, But I know my i6000d will run 1680x1050 native. I would imagine with the right drivers you probably could?

You could always try and contact DELL or ATI or whoever makes the screen you want, to ask about compatability. Probably your best bet.

Does the 6000d have an DVI output? It most certainly supports 1920x1200 output from the VGA connector, if you look at Dell's website for the 2405FPW you can see a list of all Dell-supplied graphics adapters which can run the 2405FPW at native res.

thanks everyone.

the 6000d have a vga, no dvi monitor port.

on the dell website, regarding Graphics adapters, they list the X300 pci express 128mb, BUT not the Mobility version! thats why im confused.!

It can, but it will be fuzzy. 1920x1200 really only works with DVI.
