Ferrari 4000: Worth upgrading to XP x64?

Hi...

I'm having a Ferrari 4000... I was thinking of getting either XP Pro, or the XP Pro x64 edition. Is it... worth the upgrade? I mean, for the x64, some of my friends say alot of applications can't run... I was wondering if it's worth the upgrade, and if it is, where do I get drivers for the Ferrari 4000... x64 ones...

It is true that some apps will not run... mostly really old software...

you do have to lookout for antivirus and firewall software, get x64-specific software, otherwise it most likely will not run

I've been running it on my F4005 for over 5 weeks now, not problems at all...

You may also want to look up drivers for your various devices, like printers, scanners, etc.... if you intend to use any...

As far as I know the Far Cry game, which supports 64-bit should run smoother - better graphics, anyway - if you are running an x64-bit OS system.

If you're going to run apps like office, you shouldn't see any difference at all, generally speaking, only apps written with 64bit in mind will you see some serious speed increases.
Like smp_homer said, you'll have to watch out with x64 specific drivers, including printers, scanners etc...

Far cry is amazing though! The draw distance is huge!
