Acer Aspire Software Question

Hey, just got myself a notebook (Aspire 1692), very satisified besides a bright pixel

However, I have some issues with the Processor Speed Control.

Max = 1.73Ghz
High/Medium/Low = 800Mhz

Is there any way to change the settings of the program such that High = 1.4Ghz or something like that?

Secondly, is there any way to control the tempeatures at when the fans kick in?

Is there a way to enable dual channel? The BIOS is very limited in option settings.
