DVD Audio Problem in Media Center Edition

I just got my 9300, and when i play a dvd in the Media Centre there's the background music and noise loud and clear but the voices are very, very low! but when i play a dvd in windows media player it's fine?? am i missing something here! i've checked all the audio settings and everything!

please help a newbie!!

dunno bro waiting for mce cd. once I get it, I might be able to help you.

Did you try changing speakers configuration? do you have them as 5.1 by chance?

Definitely check your speaker setup, sounds like Maine Coon is on the right path there. Although by default mine were set correct and played fine, but who knows with dell..

yah i went through the speaker config. a bunch of times...lemme know as soon as you get MCE!

thanks i'll check it out...does anybody else experiencing a similar problem?

This may be a long shot, but go to "More Programs" and see if there's something dealing with PowerDVD. If so, open it up and double-check audio settings in there.

(I seem to recall there were related options when I had PowerDVD installed and I used MCE -- though I might be wrong).
