I ordered my dream laptop the day before yesterday. Later on I realised that my friend told me that he paid 30 euros test fee for a non-dead pixel screen. So I called Dell to ask how it works. Do I have to pay for such a test in order to get a non-dead pixel screen or they do this test by themselves. The technician told me that the laptop I will receive shouldn't have any dead pixels. I was so happy about that.
However, I read a post just now that they are allowed to deliver a laptop with max 5 or 6 dead pixels. And here is their policy http://support.dell.com/support/topi...t?dn=FA1018431
So what could I do if my laptop does have dead pixels and less than 5or6? the technician gave me a file number regarding my issue/quesion. Could I use it in order to persuade them to deliver another one with no dead pixels??
Thanks.
