Im going to keep an eye on the feedback here and see what is going to be the most I can make out of a $3500 purchase in a laptop in the future. Thanks.
Be aware that forums like these are intented for people whom are having issues with their machines and in no way should reflect the overall Alienware experience.
I would invite you to head over to the VoodooPC forums and peruse their technical assistance threads. You will see many posts about quality and performance just as I surmise you would see with just about any company. That is not to say Voodoo makes a bad computer (in fact they are very
nice!), it just shows us that every dog has its days.
If I read your post correctly, you have an Alienware Desktop? Have you had any issues with the machine? And if so, how has Alienware's technical assistance been? Because it seems that most people's gripes have been about customer service and not build quality or performance.
While we are on the subject of performance I'll just say this: For every frame you're getting out of your desktop, let me assure you there is one and a half shoved into these shiny little cases
You will not
be disappointed my friend.
Please update us when you finally make a decision and a purchase. There are many great sellers of laptops out there and I'd be curious to know why you went one way or the other.
Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have about the laptop or post a thread if you need assistance as many people contribute to these threads on a daily basis.
