I've had my 8790/Hypersonic GX7 for over a year now without one problem. For some reason just today when I tried my Netgear wireless PC card adapter it works for a few minutes then locks up the laptop... The only way to recover is by forcing a shut-down and rebooting. I tried reloading drivers, using the windows adapter configurator etc., even performing a restore to back when it worked fine.... I haven't changed any configurations or added new programs for months.. At first I thought it might be due to a recent XP "hotfix" but removing those did not help.
Sometimes inserting the adapter does nothing, IE as if drivers weren't installed. Other times it works for a matter of minutes then locks....???
Any suggestions or words of wisdom?? Everything else works flawless including internet access via the NIC...
