Widescreen questions

Thread Starter
With a widescreen laptop (more specifically the 1029) what happens when one plays a non-widescreen supported game? does the image stretch horizontally thus making everything seem stubbier or does it just exclude the piece of screen it doesn't need by using black bars at the sides?

Thanks

black bars for games with no wide screen res. video card may have fit to screen function

the INTEL ones DONT (unless they got smart and added it on the latest ones - the GMA900's) but the previous 2 generation of intel video cards on laptops DID NOT have this feature

friend of mine had to play starcraft @ 1/8th his screen size
