Nvidia drivers wont install.

Thread Starter
When I go to install the latest drivers from Nvidia onto my QuadroFX Go1400, an error message pops up claiming that there were no drivers available for the existing hardware. I am running standard dell drivers, but want the optimization and tweaks that come with new drivers. Anyone know whats going on?

I had the same problems with another gpu and found Nvidia's drivers don't always support the mobiles, try:

You can read my review in my sig. I explain how to upgrade to driver 77.77 for the Sager 3880, the process for you should be similar.

You have to install drivers specially made for the mobile cards. If you try to install the drivers that come straight from Nvidia's site...forget it.

Unless...you have a modded inf file! That's how I'm running the latest/greatest Nvidia drivers 81.85 on my Sager 9880.

Go here:http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

All these drivers are for lappy's. The guys that write the modded inf's to run on the lappy's, are pretty damn good.

@ quakecon 2005 - the nvidia rep said tha the 8x.xx gen drivers would SUPPORT MOBILE w/out any special tweaks, hacked drivers, etc

guess he LIED

Well, he didn't COMPLETELY lie, at least. The 81.85 drivers support the Go 7800 GTX, but not any other mobile cards yet.
