Im from new zealand and have been working in singapore last few months

i left buying my laptop as usual to the last minute and have nothing but
good things to say about DELL SINGAPORE

i looked around for a good desktop replacment that wasnt giant sized
and found the dell 8600 ..

nothing came close to it in singapore for the money..

the spec is
1.6m cpu , free DVD writer upgrade , free 512mb upgrade..free leather case

60gig 7200rpm drive , 15.4 inch UXGA screen , 128 mb Nvidia video card 5650
xtra battery

and so on ..
fits what i need perfectly... im not worried about the lack of 9600 option in singapore .. as im not that picky .. and dont run benchmarks for fun

anyway total price (dont laugh US customers) was $1900 USD
if i purchased this in new zealand with 12.6 % gst it would come to $2400usd
or more

anyway.. since i dont have a credit card or cheque book ( i like cash)
the wonderul DELL singpore staff let me pay cash and use there personal
Credit card to pay for it

namely someone called Audrey Lim (phone desk)

and at the dell Kiosk in Suntec tower 5 singapore , Alex

they also arrange the notebook to arrive in 5 days

so if you need good service and good prices goto DELL singapore i have nothing but good things to say about them
