Man, you guys are tempting me, and I just GOT my 9300 last week. LOL BTW: I am new to this forum and was really glad to find this. I bought a 9300 based on the info I read here.
Thing is, I got the 6800 Go not realizing how "easy" it would be to do the 9300 ---> "XPS Gen 2 conversion". Now with this new "cheap" way to get the 7800GTX, it's very tempting. (though I need the 9-cell battery and the 130 watt PS still).

I assume that when the 7800GTX upgrade is done, no way to convert to SATA while in there at the same time? Dell should allow the ethernet to be upgradable to 1000, as well. (I know it's attached to the board, and can't be (easily?) done.
