my low cost solution is an air cushioned aluminum baking sheet from target for $8.99 called "Air Bake" for baking perfect cookies everytime. it is made of 2 sheets with a little air in between them basicaly. it doesn't look as bad as you would think. and it also keeps the thighs from getting broiled by your sager! bahahahahah. and if you spray with pam beforehand, it doesn't stick when your done gaming! it just slides right off!pictures of 4760 on baking sheet
the pictures don't actually show the slight thickness of the sheet.
it turns out to be an almost perfect size for this computer; very convenient for carrying it around from room to room in the home. then u can set it on the bed or lap without concern about heat. people should know going into purchasing one of these desktop replacement style computers, however, is don't buy it if easy portability is the top or near top priority. i do carry it around with me on my bike in big backpack but its pretty heavy. i'm going to a chiropracter 3 times a week right now! bahaha. (ridiculously that is for real but not the fault of my computer
). anyway, i've had it for 2 months and i still love it. it has presence! you set it on a table and everyone first says "WOW
that's the biggest one i've ever seen!
" and followed by, "that's a fancy one"
. reason enough to buy one! bahahahaha.
i have grown more fond of the heaviness though. my friend just got the dell d800 or 600? anyway its centrino and like 5 lbs and feels plasticy. i prefer the solid chunk of metal feeling of mine (even though the case is plastic); it makes it feel like a more powerful machine; and of course it is, more or less.
