Hi,

i've ordered this machine but I wonder if resolution may be too high for me.
Could someone post pics of their screen running windows?

you can always just change the resolution by going into display properties

That would not be at the native resolution and would look blurry and like utter crap.

Personally I think 1900x1200 is overkill on a 15.4" widescreen and may be too small if you don't want to strain your eyes (every person is different). I had an X1000 with 1680x1050 and it was perfect imho (well other than the fact the laptop died enough times that HP had to send me this DV4000).
