You know, one thing I gotta give Falcon-NW is that they rotate their people through tech and sales so that their sales staff has a clue what they're talking about. Then again, they overcharge the hell out of their stuff. Never a perfect world.

Wow, sounds like a nice rig. I'm looking for something like that also but am having trouble making up my mind. It seems to be a toss up between Sager 9890 and Hypersonic something or other. I haven't researched Hypersonic enough to know which is their top model. I want be doing any gaming but will be doing a lot of multitasking with Word, Excell, Winfax, Email, Autocad, Powerpoint and Photoshop.
Looking for any suggestions.

AMD top model is the FX7 (FX57 or more multitask 4800x2 )

My ship date is also 12/23 and I ordered the 7800 as well. I guess all we can do is wait and see. I can't imagine there are big issues related to this graphic card, except for heat of course.

Good Luck, I hope we get the machines
they dont even show the 7800gtx on the D900T page(same but intel) I wanted an FX7 but i cracked down and wanted to get it as soon as possible so i went intel. hey at least there is a huge copper brick of a heatsink on that pres-hot

today i got a mail from hypersonic:

Hello DarthBeavis,

Your order is slated to never ship. We apologize but we decided you do not deserve a Hypersonic laptop. As a matter of fact, in a conference call between our company and Alienware,VooDoo PC, and Falcon North West, all companies agreed to no sell you even a Tshirt. You are banned from boutique PC owership. Michael Dell has indicated you may not purchase any of their XPS line, I believe Gateway might be of assistance to you.

Please don't contact me if you have any additonal questions.

I ordered an FX7 and I could not stand the wait nor the customer service, but I have to say that I am happy with my rig. Everything turned out well. The only thing I that is a very small issue is that when you move the machine, a small swirl appears on the screen. I don't notice it while I work, so its very minor and I really can't blame Hypersonic. Once you get over the wait, I believe you will be very happy with the FX7

The ordering process was great. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgable and friendly, taking the time to thoroughly answer questions. Hypersonic accepts a wide range of payment options. For paying by direct wire transfer, they gave me a 1% discount off the total final price (not alot, but a nice gesture).

I'll post updates of my exepriences with Hypersonic, including a reivew of the system once I get it. Hopefully it will help others the way previous posts have helped me.

do you know how to get the vista drivers for this laptop?
