Yes, It runs very well. Much like Doom 3 if your looking for a close game comparison or quality/resolution examples.

Chakz is correct, it plays just fine on the x700 graphics card.

I plan to buy it, since I played it last week at a Lan party and it was a blast.

That's really good to know that Quake 4 works absolutely fine.

Yes, trust me, with all of our computers at the Lan party, it ran fine on everybody's. Most of the guys I game with have lesser graphics cards than the x700. One guy had to reinstall his graphics drivers, but then it worked fine for him as well (his comp would load the game, and then exit instantly).

So let us know how it does for you when you get it.

The 1 gb ram does the trick (apart the gpu) , I can't wait to install 1gb on my 4002 too

I recently took my Ferrari to a lan party (32 people), of which all the people there (apart from me) used desktops. I was the only notebook user but it ran everything brilliantly. Nothing was overclocked, am still using stock memory (1gb) We played predominantly Battlefield 2 but had the odd doom 3 match. I hear quake 4 is based on the same technology so it should run fine.
