I found this on the web.

The confusion around DDR2-533 (PC4200 vs PC4300) is simple: PC rating for DDR2 modules can be calculated by multiplying the clock by 8. That would result in PC4264 for DDR2-533 memory -- which could be rounded either down to PC4200 or up to PC4300

So you are saying there is absolutely not difference between pc4200 and pc4300 other than the label. Any memory gurus out there that can confirm this?

Not a memory guru, but it is correct. I read about this somewhere else (will try to find the site and post it), but it really doesn't matter as they are exactly the same. It is just the manufacturer way of labling the memory.

They should be absolutely the same memory. Although the true rating should be 4200
