well, with at 1680x1050, with everything maxed and full HDR (not just bloom), i get 40's to 50's in most places, with some dips into the 30's and high 20's where there's a lot of water and HDR lit objects. Not bad at all, i have to say. Man this is beautiful...i wish WoW had graphics like this

m680XL
-pentium M 770 (2.13Ghz)
-Geforce Go 6800 (o/c to 415/800)
-1GB ram
-Hitachi 7200RPM 60GB HD

its a great computer..still kinda unhappy about the go7800GTX coming out...i would have waited and gotten a computer with it if i had known it was so close (i bought this thing in august), but you live and you learn, and my m680 does everything i want it to, very fast.

Hey Falcon, what are the stock clocks on the NX850XL? And how's the heat doing, did you use the Nvidia overclocking utility in the drivers from Gateway or Omega? I was thinking of overclocking but I am not sure where I can start the clocks, thanks.

Stock clocks on my part were 350/700. I use drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com and they have an overclocking page built-in. Heat is not an issue for me. The bottom under where the video card is can get pretty warm while i'm gaming, but that's about it. My card can go significantly higher, but mostly I only play WoW, which is severely CPU bound, so I don't push it.
