Sharing out system memory for video?

Is there anyway to share out additional memory from my system memory to the videocard in my 1.33 ibook? I know that certain ATi equipped notebooks allow this...but I wasn't sure about my ibook. Still a n00b

no, you're basically stuck w/ the VRAM your computer has. what you're referring to are the notebook which have integrated video chips, which use system memory for the display processing. some systems come w/ the ability to use as much as 128MB of your system RAM. the sad thing about this is that not even that amount can really make it as fast as a video chip w/ its own memory of a lesser amount.

Apple uses only dedicated video solutions.
