Problems with C&C Generals

Is anyone else having problems getting C&C Generals to run with the 7.95 drivers?
The game will make it to the options screen and then the computer locks up, everytime. It does seem to work fine with the 7.91 drivers.

It may be the same problem we are having with neverwinter nights. I am going to try to use those omega catallyst drivers tonight and see if they stop the lock-ups. There are a few other games that have this same problem too with the new 7.95 drivers. You can read what we figured out so far with neverwinter and try and apply it to C&C i would almost bet its the same problem.

It works fine with the 7.91 drivers....I have reinstalled them now! :-) It looks like the new drivers have some Problems with many games and the older one not!!! I hope alienware works on these problems...

Actually, that is ATI's problem, and not AW's.

Omega seems to have caught the error, at least I think so (been playing C&C on mine with the new Mobile 9600 drivers from them with no issues).
