Is the processor fan on an inspiron 2650 suppose to run all the time or just when the processor needs to cool down?
My laptop, when working with any program locks up and hangs up once its been running for a while until the processor fan kicks on. As soon as the fan kicks on it frees everything up until it heats up again. This only happens when it is running on ac power. The laptop seems to do just fine when it is running on battery power, but I need it on longer than the battery will last.
Any info would be helpful as my warrenty is out now. Thanks
