NC4200 black screen after stand by mode

My NC4200's having problem with the standby mode. Every time it wakes from the standby mode, it will be black screen, and all I can do is toto press the power key for 5 seconds to shut it down (I was trying to just push the power key once to shut down windows, but it doesn't help. It seems that not only the LCD but the whole laptop stops working).
Is there anyone having/had the same problem? Any suggestion to solve the problem?

Just find out that the problem was caused by CHC(centrino hardware control), which set the CPU speed to LOW in the standby mode, while the HP BIOS wants it to be set HIGH. I switched to rmclock, which has an option to set the standby CPU freqency, and the problem is solved.

I used to get this problem too on my nc4000. I downloaded the latest BIOS from HP and it went away.
