Undervolt M3438G

Hi all,

I want to undervolt my M3438G and was wondering who of you fellow M3438G owners have done this and what software you used.
I should point out that I have no idea hoe to do it so any advice welcome.
I have heard of something called centrino hardware control ?

My reason for doing it is I dont play cpu intensive games or run cpu intensive apps so figure I may aswell have it running cooler if possible...

Any over to you...

Furthermore, any way to undervolt or aggressively throttle back the graphics card? I use the CPU intensively, more than anything, so the posh graphics is a needless drain. Would dearly love to overclock the CPU, but the BIOS on this thing is locked up like Fort Knox!

Yeah you did and info was excellent but I just wanted to see if anyone else had done it and what methods they used, in particular, if they used centriino hardware control to do it...

I did a quick search before posting this using "undervolt M3438G" as the criteria which I thought was the obvious choice for a title and yours never came up.

i jus use chc on dynamic switchin and ati tt to underclock the gfx to 280/240
that keeps it runnin a bit cooler and still gives me ample power for most tasks
