Perfect 10 Laptop!!! Check it out

I found a laptop that is just perfect in everyway.

It is a 15.4" WXGA Color Shine & Crystal Shine/ WSXGA+ ZBD LCD; Splendid Video Intelligent Engine.
Has tv tuner and bluetooth. 128mb x700 video, DDRII 533MHz
Pentium M processor 1.6 - 2.13 GHz, 2mb L2 cache
Best of all, it weighs only 7 lbs!!!

Model is Asus W1V.

The problem is, I don't know where to buy one. If you have a good place to buy this laptop, please let me know. Thanks

You can get it down in Australia. I'm planning on picking one up in the beginning of December, possibly a bit later. If I do I'll post a review, which is really what I'm waiting for right now...

From what I've seen it's only available with the WXGA screen which really lowers the overall goodness of that laptop. But still, a very nice laptop. (a little old as bahama said. )

I've seen other laptops by asus that costs nearly $2000 with 64mb embedded video ram. Its off my list thats for sure. The best alternative that I can think of would be the Z70va. It doesn't have all the exciting features but its good enough for its value.

costs too much, soo much atleast they can do is through in a X800 or a 6800 =\... ohwell, not perfect anymore.. lol besides it also weighs too much. Such technological advance should change the wieght and make it lighter, around 5-6 lbs is more acceptable today... the the wieght is only going down.

Thermal designs for 15 inch notebooks make it very hard to stick 6800s/x800s them while keeping the laptop light and relatively thin. X700/ Geforce 6600 level cards are basically the most powerful cards that can be stuck in a 15 incher while keeping a relatively light and thin profile.

i understand where ur coming from, but that laptop is not even thin and or light.... its quite heavy... 7lbs...

Its a sweet notebook... but nowhere near perfect.
