Trip Points

I know that there are some trip points in some buried thread and for some reason the search wasn't working. But can someone post some good trip points for my poor hot Area-51m. I just don't think 60-45-60-45 is good for my reliability. Admin, can you make a sticky with tweaks like this, Thx. Also, some people have said they have used a cpu voltage tweak to underclock their cpu to limit heat. Anybody have a link?

I assume you mean for the "get thermal" utility...I see it was removed but many of the guys do run it and I am sure someone will give you some help

you really only need to change the values in the first box for trip0 trip1 and trip2.

Try setting the values to 50, 55 and 60 (ie 10 less than the default for each)
