It has been delayed due to shortage of the Bluetooth module. I'm considering cancelling and going for the 8000 w/128 9600 Pro.

I would go with the Gateway M675. A 17" screen, dual channel RAM, UPGRADEABLE VIDEO CARD (128mb 9600 RADEON CURRENTLY) 64mb is also available.

Sorry, no I mean the HP NC8000... I might have considered a Gateway or Dell but work is buying me this lappy and we are primarily a HP/Compaq shop... just cut a P.O. and ordered it.

But, I do appreciate the input and suggestions.

Hopefully it will rock...

Anybody wanna guess for 3Dmark2001SE at 1024 x 768 x 32 x 2xAA x 4xAnsio performance will be?

Guys,

I'm considering an nc6000. Any news on the current Intel 855PM rev A3 chipset which only supports 133MHz RAM? Could you please check your current nc6000 to see what rev the chipset is? I checked the Intel website, it is not only a matter of DRAM speed between rev B1 and A3, there are several other erratta that got fixed in rev B1.
