They should not be allowed to post such statements as "Dell will not be responsible for typographical or other errors or omissions regarding prices or other information." Thats bullshit. Of COURSE they're responsible, who else would be? GAH.

And please people, stop suggesting gaming machines or other portables that are at least $400 more than the deal he was getting.
You can call it whatever you want.. don't like it, go somewhere else.

I didn't use any coupon codes, just ordered one. . . . .should I be OK??

Why is it still in processing after 4 days???

Yeah, as long as you didn't get that killer deal others tried to take advantage of.

BTW: Yesterday I was able to configure the 630m (same as a M140) via Dell's Federal Gov't portal with similiar specs to a M140 I had configured on Dell's Home and was quoted a much better price.
This may have been a temporary fluke but for those considering buying the M140 it would be worth checking out.

Yeah, this sound like a lot of BS. Sure, they have the right to do whatever they want because of that fine print, but that doesn't mean that they should. I say call them and demand something. I'm guessing they'll eventually give you something just to get you to shut up.

You the gov't somms? I suspect orders are being cancelled because the m140 isn't ready to be sold to custormers yet even though it's listed. Could be something complicated in legal terms or as simple as that the owner's and the service manual aren't ready.

The XPS M140 service manual has been posted but still no documentation regarding the 630m yet.

says 630m here:

I think they even confused themselves with the naming conventions, they put the "m" in m140 in the back like in 630m

Interesting. The processor and heatsink are installed upside down. Cool.
