I purchased a portable CD player that had mp3 support at least 5 years ago and thought it was so great. Then I got the MOJO player which had an onscreen display and I thought wow even better. I then got an IRiver player which was spectacular, I laughed as others bought (WOW) 64 mb mp3 players and paid 2 times as much as I did for my 800 mb player and 800 is just per disc. Now the 20 gb hard drives have taken over the market but why are there no portable DVD players made just to play mp3 discs? You could get almost 5 gigs a disc and even the smallest of cd wallets you are way above any portable hard drive player. I have searched for such an item and have found very little talk of it so was wondering if anyone knows where I could get such a device. I do not want it to play movies or have a real LCD just a 4 line display that lets me navigate the disc. Please let me know if this idea has a fundamental flaw that I am overlooking but I do not see why it does not exist.
