I have a 5680 with
P4 2.6 800fsb HT
512 DDR
9600 128 (standard there)
40gb 5400rpm hd
I am looking at
P4 3.4 800fsb HT
2GB DDR
Soon after, a 7200rpm hd (probably 80 gig)
I mean thats a 800mhz increase, and 4 times the memory.
WHat do I want this for? Gaming. Its not my main rig obviously, but I want to be able to play newer games are "acceptable" framerates. I know it wont be a fps monster, but will that help in games like BF2 and Counterstrike Source?
I am going to look into getting ahold of a 5690MB so I will have the 9700 128, and before I buy the proccy, I want to find out what the max proccy speed in the 5690 was, because if its higher than 3.2, I will wait and buy the proccy with the 5690mb (if I can)
Are we 100% that the 5690 MB will fit the 5680 chassis?
