May I suggest a downloadable pdf file that will direct you part by part on how to disassemble the Sager 888x Series Laptops. The inverter board is not located in the screen section, so further disassembly may be required. Its free. Just scroll down to the bottom of this page. http://www.store.yourcoloradosprings.com/sager/ There are also some used parts for your 888x series machine.
