Happy to oblige. Yes - about 3.5 weeks in Phase Hell. Then I checked the website and it showed Phase 1 again (turns out that is a glitch that happens occaisionally). But then I checked my AMEX and I thought they had credited my payment back...but, duhhhh, I then realized I had slipped in and paid it off - and that was the only charge, so it looked like it had been credited, but it was just USER ERROR! Playing the phase game makes even experienced AW buyers stupid!

That happened when i bought my XPS2. IT was ordered so long, the funds they only held on my card was released back to the card. Then the laptop shipped and it took them like 8 days to recharge my card after i got the laptop. Thought they decided to just give me the laptop for free, but i wasnt so lucky.

My monitor is in the third phase of dells pahses now, maybe it will actually ship out today.

30" widescreen display is rubbish. Way too big. You will get a sore neck scanning back and forth. Total waste of funds.

I had a hard desicion. I changed my mind for a minute from the 30 to just getitng two 2405's and running dual scree. But it was hard to pass up the resolution and pure sexy vibe that thing gives me.

airplanes, 6am starts, more airplanes, another 6am teleconf tomorrow, followed by full day of cramming to finish a 30 page presentation...longing for the month of January (everyone on extended Holidays in Australia)...makes a dull sleepyhead.
