Yeah, Mikey and Jay getting banned was, IMHO, uncalled for...enough provocation had ensued. It was just anger and frustration. I saw the tail-end of it and the dell trolls were not even warned after several inflammatory posts, but due to the nature of these forums, I may have missed something so I will give all the benefit of the doubt.

Reps out to od still not yellow yet. Well the whole dell alienware thing sucks but it's not the end of the world. What really will suck is if jay and nm are more then just temp banned. It's bad enough they got banned to begin with when the whole thing happened in a thread started by a dell poster just trying to cause problems. Oh well i'll just lie low for the next few days till this all blows over i sure hope jaycat and NM are back soon.

This is truly depressing - Mike, Jaycat and Evil banned for defending the house. Hopefully they will be back soon - in the meantime I think a hiatus is in order for me before I say something that will get me banned as well.

Good idea. I wish they would just lock the damn thing.

I've said my piece on it, and am done with it now. Will continue as if it's not an issue, and ultimately re-evaluate my participation here on NBF, but not til things settle for a bit. Now off to rep some folks!

On a side note - we have spent two good days visiting my brother and his live-in sig other. Had a nice time. Bro is only 3 days away from retirement as a letter carrier with the Post Office, so it's an exciting time for him. We had a nice family dinner last night with Brother and his gal, Brother's ex-wife and husband (they are both part of the family). Spent the evening remembering good times with our parents - who passed away a few years ago. It was a good time and we all shared a few laughs. Glad we made the time to visit. Makes you appreciate time with family, and remembering what's important.
