is there a big boost in performance with raid 0. alot of people are configuring their laptops wityh raid and i never really understanded what it is. i know its two hardrives perfoming at thesame time but is their performace boost

yes, a BIG performance boost, but RAID 0, and RAID 1, are directed towards different goals. RAID 1 is leaning more towards security, but RAID 0 is just raw power, RAID 0 is still safe though if your careful. everybody correct me if I'm wrong
