Sorry cnX was mitey slow so did the ol modem, router, machines power down-restart. Took a minute to find a SAT sig (mitey cloudy here) and get Black Sabbath 'Sabotoogie' up and running again!!!

Hi all.

Hey, Boyd ... what's up weatherwise? Had a buddy who got stuck on the Tarmac at IAH for 3 hrs ... storms came up. Then they ran out of fuel, then, the crew was out of hours ... then they cancelled the flite. Now he's waiting standby for a flite to PHX ... OR sleeping overnite in Houston! Must a been quite a storm.

Weird day weatherwize no doubt.

Was beautiful this morning, warm and sun shining, not a cloud in the sky. Around noon the front moved in, temp dropped and it started drizzling all afternoon until rite now. Don't know why the planes ain't moving for your bud, unless they ran out of money for jet fuel...the taxes on jet fuel are astronomical...

Houston welcomes 'em with open arms...tell 'em go with the Marriott at IAH for a quick sleep while waiting or the Hilton Hobby if flying outa south side...less false fire alarms IMHO and Leroy is on the job!!!

Oh man, hope it was a GOOD talk.

The boss had a little talk with me this afternoon (immediate supervisor was in attendance also and clammed). One of those, "You are valuable but not indispensable" talks...I didn't take it litely though. I missed a day earlier this week without calling in, hasn't been the first time in the last fifteen years and the record is building up on me. I gotta stop doing that disappearing act, they don't like that too much...Don't have any more of those "gimmies" left.

Got all the furniture arranged?

I read in May 08 Maximum PC that Dell is gonna stop with the proprietary mobo/PSUs...in the XPS desktop line. Nothing but off the shelf for them nowadaze in the gaming line.
