I've got less than a year left on my warranty. I have not had any major issues yet. *knocks on wood*

Hi Aliens ... nice to see scott and thrillhaus (and of course, mb!)

Took the afternoon off from work, and just been relaxing. Gotta do my desktop build this weekend.

Mmm, hmm.

Hope everything works out for the best on the Sentia thrillhaus.

I've got Jimi screaming in my ears as I try to play Buddy Miles power drums for the umpteenth time. Love Buddy's contribution but I'm more of a Mitch Mitchell kinda drummer. Was thinking on turning the gain down one notch...but that would be sacrilegious!

You gotta share the build, loves me some shazza builds...Config?

Hey, hulioni. Have you heard from the Florida surfer dude?
Hehe, yeah sounds like he had a nice vacation. I think anywho . Did send me a pic finally. Not the subject matter I was looking forward to but but but

Gots to get me a good cam soon.
ooh ... that is excellent. Glad things are good with him.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying my Canon 450D ... not quite the 40D that Z is shooting with, but I've got lots to learn.

The problem with buying a camera is ... then you decide you need a couple new lenses, and then a nice tripod, and then filters, and then a camera bag, and then ...

Kinda like upgrading PC's
Yeah it does sound like the computer stuff. I know you just got the wide lens and know Z was lookin for one or picked it up (hard to keep track with him ). Just looking at all the old pics I took over in Hong Kong, China, and Japan the other night makes me cry. So many great shots taken with a real pos camera . I sure member them much better in my head than they turned out on film . Seems like a nice and fun hobby, and I could always use a new hobby .

Well ... I know a couple of things ...1) you've obviously got patience and the technical know how (patience I know from your mowing habits, technical from your computer skills), and 2) you've got some great subjects right outside your door. With the weather watchin' you do, it's almost a crime to not have a nice camera to capture your shots (altho, I did like the ones you posted).

hehe ...

well, here's another dog pic, just cause I feel like it. Sometimes, with a new camera, you see more than you want ... I knew the old gal had a goober by her eye, but I really didn't need to see the morning's breakfast on her snout:

Hee, hee, hee.

I said, 'Oh what a cute pix'...then I started tripping on the goober, nose breaksfast!

Even with all that, or maybe because of all that, a great pix!

ha ... thanks, Boyd. It's very hard to get a pic of her not laying down (which is what she does 98% of the time). But, she's a good ol' gal, and everyday we have with her is special. 16 is pretty old for a cocker.
