Well, things here are moving along. A little warm perhaps, but they're moving along.

Hee, hee, hee. Just kidding of course. But while it's fresh on your mind - two like value resistors in parallel say, 10K and 10K..what the total resistance is?

Wrong answer is not an option.

Yes, but at what rate did you raise your grade, and what is the current acceleration of your raising rate?

Please show all your work.

Morning, Spartan.

Sounds like Boyd is having some scary weather. I hope the family is ok ( I loved the part about ... "and then I took out the knife").

Sorry I missed this. Got involved with watching a movie and didin't return.

The answer is the total resistance of any number of resistors with equal values connected in parallel will equal the resistance of one resistor divided by the total number of resistors. So in your example, there are two resistors with 10k ohms. The value would be 10k ohms divided by 2, which equals 5k ohms.

The other jargon was beaten into our heads, so I included it as well.

simple physics right there... i hated doing circuits in physics...

Correct...but y'all already knew that.

Now take those same two resistors in parallel with a 3.18K ohm resistor in series with them. What's the total resistance? Just making sure our tax dollars are being well spent...
