Glad to hear the weekend trip to the Kids/Grand Kids was a safe and good one, shazza. What'd they get ya?!?

I loves me some Christmas tree building...or I should say I love to watch the Ol' Lady build it. I'll get some pix before Christmas and post. Finished bulbing out yet? Show me yours I'll show you mine.

I gotta work a real day tomorrow and even though we're 'sposed to work a full day Christmas Eve, unless a system is down it'll be a wink and a nod after 'brunch'.

Remember way back when, when shazza was new and she gotta $1,200 gift certificate from the kids for Christmas? Think she blew it on a 24"cher. Was sooo proud (envious) of her. Thats a good thang!!!

Keepin on. Heater did go out while it was 2 out but wasn't as bad as when the ac went out at 105 . Moved my xmas plans around a bit but, heh sh!t happens. Drive up to the family on xmas day and all shall be erased.

How thangs out on the left coast?

So far so good. I am currently on Active Duty orders for a few months, which is nice pay-wise. I am waiting to hear back from the Active Duty folks as to my request to come back active permanently.

At the moment, I am using my Alien to transcode a HD surfing movie.

The wife seems to think that I am going to go back on perm active duty status, and she is dead-on when it comes to things like this so I am hoping for that. It would make my life a lot easier if and when that happens.

I hope you get exactly what you want mb67. But I don't know...the reserve status and a decent paying civilian job with an employer that is on board with it seems like a dream. I'm fiddy one, will the USAF accept me into there ranks? I got a hair cut since...did the LarryC thang #2 thang.

Nahhh just kidding, I wouldn't go back into the military even if the Cubans invaded. Figure if that happens screw the National Guard...me and the other 48 states or so will hunker down with the birdshot at close range.

Not very Merry Christmasy was it?
