We are still drying out from all of the rain that we had. Part of our yard is still mud and standing water.

I was too busy to say good afternoon. I bought a new LCD TV and HD satellite receiver for the kitchen.

I have my 55 inch downstairs and and a 42 inch in the bedroom.

but I have been thinking about getting a LED LCD for downstairs

Much nicer picture, and 1/4 the weight, and 1.5 inches thick

I'm debating now about getting a HDTV. It's tempting, as I'd really only have to pay $170 out of pocket for a 32" because of the lightning strike that fried my other tv. (insurance) But I could use that money for other things.

Hallo AW

My family in the states all has 52" That would be overblown for my small apartment here in Hamburg - thus I am sticking with the 32" full HDTV

The one below is the one we got approved by the insurance to replace mine with. It's just that I do have other stuff I'd like to spend the money on, but I'm not going to have the offer on the table for a tv that cheap for much longer. It's 720p (but in a 32" it doesn't seem to matter much, and I don't really want to pay for HD service now either) and looks pretty good in stores. But I'll have to see how much the alignment and tires will be, before I can do much now.

Good morning, AW. I still have my TIVO issue. Those idiots at DirecTV woke me up at 7am. They are coming tomorrow. I have a few things for them to do.

We just put a 32" 1080p LCD in our kitchen. One thing they are going to do tomorrow is run a cable to it.

My kitchen would be too small for it Also I don't trust myself to concentrate with the TV there in the kitchen when I am preparing meals.

Good afternoon, AW. I washed the truck for the first time since it was repaired. It has fresh paint on the door and the rear panel. I used one of those touch-less car washes at a Texaco gas station.

You must be close to a chef, if you need that much concentration.

Our Kitchen is not huge. We do have a big house though.

I miss the spacious kitchen from our home in the states. I just love to experiment and tinker with recipes.
