I'm going to my new USAF technical school for one year: Weather. It's a very long school and once I'm done I'll be able to work for the FAA, NOAA, NASA, etc. if I need to. (I still have my IT job with the DoD as well so I'm not going to be hurting for work after being gone for a year. )

Where would you like to work after that? NASA sounds pretty interesting.

Well, I've got some things lined up with the FAA here in Hawaii, and since I'm committed to the Hawaii Air Guard for 6 years I'll have to stay here. After that, I don't know. I really do like it here though...

Actually, you'd be surprised at how many people don't like it here; Mainly due to it being a small island cut off from the vast mainland. Personally I don't mind it and the weather here is very nice year round. (It's 74 F at 6 am in Jan )

Very easy and cheap. There's not much distance to cover and all of the major islands in the chain have decent airports.

mb High 70 on Friday and clear in Biloxi, weather report here, link.
Yea if I had to be tied to a place Hawaii would be high on the list. Don't get me wrong qhn's winter fest sounds fun but sunshine and hotties in bikinis edges them out.
