Good evening, AW. We had a nice dinner at Red Lobster. Relaxing now. Watching news.

mb tell us more but sounds like not good? Now you got me scared? I send all my stuff to work since I live in an apartment building and always work when they deliver.

The person who signed for my laptop, if I ever catch them will be made into toast.

I did get a response back from the military exchange service and they said if it hasn't turned up in 48 hours, I'll get my money back. Not the response I wanted, but I guess they are doing things right. I place the order through them as i get a nice discount off of Dell's main website, and they have not done me wrong in the past. Also it's not their fault as the laptop was sent via Fed Ex from Dell, so I can't be mad at the military exchange. If anything, the FedEx driver should get fired for allowing someone other than myself sign for the laptop. I mean come on, my name is Mike B, not "D. Hanson" the name of the individual who signed for it.

I hope you get it worked out.

Thanks. I hope so too. Oh well, if I don't end up getting it I'll not try again. Might have to take that money and get that nice dSLR I've been eying.

mb is this theft? I am just asking because when I was young in the stone age if the UPS could not get a sig he would go to the neighbor? I am surprised these shipping companies do not require ID? Everyone else does. And of course the cost of theft is passed on to all of us.

I am a very cynical person at times. Does the driver know the goodies he has and facilitate the nefarious action? I would if I was an evil ass, but I am not.

I'm going to find out in the morning, but it's difficult since I'm in a school environment from 6am to 3pm without any possibility of breaking away except for lunch.

Bummer MB. I hope you get sorted out soon. It is quite maddening when something like that happened.

MB is more upset than I am at this moment ...

Very true! I do not know what is the worst. When my apartment was broken into it was as much the fact someone stole my space. Or thought they could intrude on me. Not just the value of what was taken. Both do suck but I do think it is the previous that is more distressing at the end of the day. And why MB feels as he does. But not getting the Mx11 in of itself could do also. But I did have a point even if I lost it.
