So far, so good. The fan kicks in when tasks get heavy, but overall it stays cool. I'll do battery tests later...

Good late evening, AW. We had a nice steak lunch. We also visited 3 state parks around a large lake here. A nice Italian dinner also.

I may replace my 3rd system with that. Good to hear the results so far.

I am off pretty soon to meetings. It snowed again early this morning. Bummer really. We were hoping that winter is finally over but guess not.

Good morning, AW. I did not get much sleep. I woke up at 3:48am. I could not go back to sleep because of my wife's snoring. I will move to a different room next time.

I hope the meetings go well. It can still get cold and ice here during March.

I really do like this little system. AW has finally got it right with the smaller form factor. I wanted to get the Sentia m3200 when it came out many moons ago, and for the longest time I still pined after that laptop through eBay. When they announced the m11x at CES, I was 'blown away' by the config and any thoughts of getting a Sentia faded away.

Also, (my personal thoughts here) I'm quite content with the ULV Core 2 Duo versus the Core i3 or i5. This system does pretty much all I want it to do and then some.

They went well, just too long. I did not get home until after 20:00 - nuts. It will be like this for the next few weeks for me.

Nice to hear MB. No heat issue so far? What with connectivity to external devices?

I've got it connected to my 32" LCD TV, plus I've got 3 external HDD's on my 7-port USB hub hooked in as well. No heat issues, but the fan does turn on every so often.
