Hmm, Loves me some AW, but I really like the old cases better. OriginPC is not a bad company from what I understand, and then there's always Falcon NW, Widow PC. One could get a Predator case from Ebay and build the system via Newegg, if the need for a project comes along.

FalconNW too expensive. I've not checked out OriginPC, will do now. I haven't been on Dell's site lately to configure an Area-51. I would like one of the new cases (got each of the last three). Thinking around $2,000 walk out. Hee, hee, hee purty sure the taxes would eat up about 1/3 dat @ Dell (you know I had to say it, just 16 Apr and all).

I'm partial to the Predator style case, though this new 'industrial' looking case is growing on me, after seeing it on my M11x.

*EDIT*
Oh speaking of which, I am thinking of getting this laptop skin made for the M11x to help with the fingerprint issue I have. Damn outer case is a fingerprint magnet.

Save your money...just don't touch it! I've been looking around for an Alienware hard hat skin. Yeah technically not legal...but would be cool!

How is the m11x machine running?

Was ata plant yesterday and when getting the service ticket signed, couldn't help but notice one of the engineers had Alienware wallpaper on his Dell. Asked, and that led to about a 45 minute conversation. All good. Loves me some Alienware, just wish the small company touch was still there.

I know, it lost some of its exclusiveness when Dell devoured AW. I still am a fan and couldn't be happier with my M11x. I'm so glad that I waited until they came to their senses to create a small, powerful lappie- I almost went to eBay to buy an old Sentia m3200 series.
